From the relation 2t+5 = 7, you get t=1. Then 7t+2 = 9

Find out t using the 2t+5=7 equation and then plug the number in to the 7t+2 value

First get the t by itself...so subtract 5 from each side of the equation~ (remember the one with the = sign is the equation)
2t+5 -5= 7-5, which will leave you with
2t=2
now the next step to getting the t by itself is to divide both sides by 2
t=1, then put the value of t as 1 into the first problem
7(1)+2= 9
hope this helps!
