My injury was not life threatening in the sense that I would've died, but the doctors were very surprised I didn't paralyze myself, so I am so grateful for that! I jumped off of a 100 foot bridge into the water and the impact fractured my vertebrae. It hurt. Bad!!!

I was legally dead for three minutes during a simple gallbladder surgery. That was four years ago, and I have yet to hear the technicalities of it. The doctor died about a month later, and my mom tried explaining it and I never quite followed her.. something about an artery and the size of my gallbladder.

Not life threatening but many serious things have one wrong. However, if I do get something that is life threatening I will not let it beat me!!

Yes. I took an over-dose of allergy pills and had a seizure. If I hadn't already been in the ambulance when that happened, I probably would've died. Or so they told me later.

Yes...I had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured...I waited too long before going to the doctor and had to be taken to another town for emergency surgery. They had to give me 5 pints of blood.

Yes, I developed a blood infection in the hospital after having my baby due to the c-section, hospital germs and excessive bleeding. =(

Yeah, I have survived moderate/severe depression(safe to say that I'm in remission?) and severe hemorrhage while I was giving birth to my second baby.
