we dont have to pay any money they said that it comes out of my winnings it is from applegate sweepstakes prize inc. 15 great portland street london uk has any one else got a letter like this one?

Write to 15 Gt Portland Street and ask for confirmation or go down there. There is probably some catch as company names which end in "Inc." are not UK companies.

This has SCAM written all over it! 15 Great Portland Street is a Barclays Bank Branch office!!
Did you enter into this sweepstake or did they just send you a letter? They don't tell you you need to pay anything (yet!) but in the end they will take money from you instead of give you money. My best advice: if you didn't enter into anything like this, you didn't win.

I also received a letter from the same company letting me know that I had won the same amount, the address are the same and they also left a name and a contact number but every time you tried calling that number there is a recording saying that you dint have enough credit to make this call.

I don't know if it's a scam, but I just got the same letter. I can't find any evidence of the company or the address on the net.
