I don't see this as a debate...Champ Bailey is hands down the best cornerback in the league right now...Some of the other names mentioned above: Antoine Winfield?? Not even close. Brian Dawkins? Sorry he is a safety not even the right position. Pacman Jones? Are you serious?
No, Bailey is the best in the NFL by a wide margin right now. (and I am not even close to being a Broncos fan so this isn't a "homer" opinion).

I agree 100% with Champ Bailey. He is the truest thing to a shut down corner back.

Of course my answer is going to be Champ Bailey of the Denver Broncos. He's fast, strong, and he's got hands for a CB. There is another CB that "in my opinion" is pretty good...or it could be that I'm from Houston. Dunta Robinson from the Houston Texans because he's got good speed and hits hard for a little guy.

This isn't even a debate. Champ is number 1. I would have to say Rashean Mathis or Asante Samuel are 2a and 2b.
Chris Gamble??? Pacman??? Ill take Chris McCalister, Charles Woodson, Antoine Winfield, Nate Clements over both of them
