One of my friends has recently introduced me to night wish. i find them to be amazing. I was wandering if there was any similar artist to them?

Pfft, Your lists lack one important thing. Nightwish is symphonic metal.

You'll need more symphonic metal bands. Within Temptation is a very good choice.

Others include Therion, Epica, Apocalpytica. Also some bands from other metal gernes like Sonata Arctica and Rhapsody may fit the deal as well as Avantasia.

Lacuna Coil. Their song "Swamped" is awesome. And try Within Temptation.

Evanescence and you should try Theatre of Tragedy, although is more of a gothic music..
