Sometimes I wonder if it is, myself. What is love? To love someone and to "be in love" with someone, are two different things, I feel. We love our family, we love our friends, we love our children, we love our animals.

But to be IN LOVE with someone....well I usually confuse it with infatuation. Being in love with someone, you're excited to be around the person, you usually get butterflies, you try hard to show them your best self. That's what I think love is, and I have felt this many times, so it was very real to me. These relationships did not go anywhere though. It's pretty sad.

I question where love is real too, now. It's a hard thing to define.

It can be. Love doesn't last forever. People fall in and out of love all the time. But it's real for the moment.

you may think its not in these days. for some people it isn't which is a shame.
for love to be real, you could just deal with being blind when you look at a person you love, and still love them.
it takes the right person for it to be real.

Depends on what you mean but all in all its just our brain reacting to chemical reactions so... I'd have to say no. Although I have cared enough for a girlfriend I've had as well as my family to truly say I "love them" and mean it. Even still I don't think its "real" because everything we experience is just chemical reactions.

Nothing is real.
Only facts are.
Everything is real, but for a time only.
