Peyton Manning, Peyton Manning

The best QB in my opinion is Drew Brees because it's amazing how he totally turned the New Orleans Saints around from 2nd worst team 2 years ago to making the NFC Championship last year. I'm not saying Peyton because well here's the thing. Tell me which WR's does he has. Probably the best WR duo in the NFL in Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne a long with a pretty good Brandon Stokely. Oh and my fav QB as an ATHLETE not as a GOOD PERSON is Michael Vick because well...look at his stats. And we ALL know what business he's in other than football. Has something to do with dogs.

Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL right now and possibily of all-time. He may have only won 1 Super Bowl (so far) and everyone will say he has more talent around him than Tom Brady, but did anyone ever think maybe Reggie Wayne is a Pro Bowler because of Manning? He gets better stats than many starters on other teams.

Not only does Manning have physical skills, he is the smartest player in the game. He probably knows exactly what every single player does on every single play, as well as predicting what the defense will do, so he often calls his own plays through audibles.

Favorite QB is a tough call. I like Manning and glad he won the big game so he can get the respect he deserves, but Drew Brees has been excellent the past couple of years and has a great story. He is basically out the door in San Diego as soon as they draft Rivers, so he has a fantastic season and proves he is a good QB. Then he goes to New Orleans and turns their entire franchise around in one season, making a star out of a 7th round WR pick.

Rex Grossman? Are you kidding me? How can you say no other QB took a team to the Super Bowl in their first season? Have you been watching football long? First of all Grossman was not in his first season, he came into the league in 03 and started a few games at the end of the season, he started the 04 season then got injured. Now if you want to say his first full season and take a team to a Super Bowl then you are still wrong. Ever hear of a QB named Kurt Warner who was stocking shelves and then took the Rams to a Super Bowl in his first season…..and won it! Tom Brady didn’t start the season off but he ended up taking his team to the Super Bowl and winning too. Geez man, if you like Grossman that’s fine but at least know what you are talking about when it comes to other QB’s. I mean those are just two QB’s off the top of my head in the last 7 years.
Tough call between Brady and Manning but take Super Bowls out of the pictures I think Manning runs a more complicated system. And favorite QB well I’m going to be a homer and take Warner because he finally won us a Super Bowl lol

Right now it's Tom Brady, because he wins even when the talent around him isn't spectacular. Yes, Manning has an edge in physical tools and is definitely smart, but he's had so much talent for so long and he only just won a Super Bowl.

As for my favorite, well, being a Denver fan, I'm going with Jay Cutler. I liked what I saw last year, and even though he only started five games and went 2-3, he finished with the highest QB rating of any of the rookie QB's selected in the first round of the 2006 draft (88.5).

Some will say Brady but Peyton Manning is on another level talant wise than all other QBs. I'm basing this on his physical tools (great arm, 6'5" height), mental abilities (can read defenses like no one else and is the best in the game when it comes to changing the play before the snap) and finally his stats which are beyond that of anyone else playing during his era. As far as fav QB I suppose I'd say Hasselbeck since he plays for my Seahawks. Definitely not that dog electrocuting, drowning and shooting scumbag Vick!

The best QB is Peyton Manning and my favorite is Vince Young, I can't wait to see how he develops this season. Peyton Manning without a doubt is a stud and will continue to be one until he retires. Hopefully he can get another ring and cement his place as one of if not the greatest QB to play the game. Now for my boy VY if he can develop and learn to read the defense and raise his completion level he will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Just my 2 cents.

Ok I cant help but laugh at this first answer. LOL! I think Grossman has been in this league like 3 or 4 years! Go ahead Grossman take any team in the AFC to the Super Bowl! TRY IT OUT! Better yet try to get them to atleast the playoffs. NFC is weaker than a piece of thread! Anyway the best QB in the league is Tom Brady, hes won 3 super bowls with hardly any great talent at wide receiver and tight end. HES IN THE AFC TOO! My favorite QB though is Carson Palmer. I love this guy, he throws soo good and if the Bengals had a defense they would be super bowl contenders!

Best: Peyton Manning

Favorite: Rex Grossman, yes laugh, but I don't think any other QB got his team to the Superbowl in his first season, regardless of his defense, that is still a big feat
