If you have another suggestion I am open to other ideas. I'm only 5 weeks along at this point! It could be a girl too!

I think both are very nice names and it's hard to tell because you may end up changing your mind 50+ times from now until then (I'm 28 weeks and I've had about 14 names each that I kept changing my mind on). A couple things I've tried were to check on meanings of names (to see if they sound good together), names that are special to you and the father, or a name that will be easy to say when you have to scold your child. Try it sometime!!;0)

While I like the name Quentin (I know one), Quentin Anthony is kind of hard to say and it's not a smooth switch from all the N's to an M last name. In a real world sense, it sounds like a stuffy name person who's hard to relate to---even though the Quentin I know is pretty funny.
Carson James, on the other hand, is very fluid. I strongly favor it. I also agree with the other suggestions that CJ is a great nickname, especially for adolescence.

I like Carson better, still unique and strong and is a lot easier to pull off than Quentin. Some people have their top choices and wait to see their baby. Personally I'm horrible w/ knowing who the baby looks like more, and they all look the same to me in general but that may be bc I'm only pregnant for the first time now. You may be different.

Voting for Carson James. I know a Carson, very professional and strong willed man. Carson is a name that reminds me of that personality, also...James is a classic.
