No not at all. It's just men have more troubles at times expressing their feelings.

Ah, but some women express their love through sex, and some men express their love in other ways. It has nothing to do with what gender you are, it has to do with what person you are.

I don't think so... I think men have more testosterone which drives them toward sex more than women (which is arguable), but I think in this country men are socialized to repress their feelings more. I believe this is why we have trouble getting them to 'open up.' For goodness sakes, they're taught to urinate standing next to each other like they're cows... I don't mean to be vulgar, but when you think about it, that is a very personal thing to do in such a public setting. Food for thought...

I hope someone isn't feeding you a line like that. I think if a man loves you, in his own way, you'll know and won't be left wondering. I've been loved before and I've been lusted for before... each state comes along with very different feelings.

Take good care,
Sense

no both have ways of expressing love for one another other than through sex. Sex is a benefit of love.

SOME men. Men typically are not as VERBALLY emotional as women, so sex makes sense.

However for my DH, sex is purely sex. It's not about love. He shows love by the things he does with me/for me.

But then my DH is a real man & has no problem saying how he feels. I feel the men that can't open up are stifled & wimpy. I've dated both kinds, that's my opinion.

no. its steryotipical to still think that all men want is sex. unless you're dealing with a high school boy. i know plenty of ways to express love without relying on sex. sex is a physical act, not an emotional one.

I think men are more accustomed to that but, women can express love with sex as well... and in other ways which men... usually... no pun intended....do not, as fare as romantically and sentually!

My husband shows me he loves me in many ways. Making love, absolute respect of me and needs and wants, going to work everyday for our family, spending time with my choice of company, kissing me goodbye in the morning when he leaves for work and I am still sleeping, kissing me hello when he comes in the door before saying anything to the kids, kissing me and hugging me after dinner, kissing me and rubbing my back before going to bed every night, mowing the lawn around my gardens that he thinks is a lot of work that I don't need. My favorites besides making love is when I am with our son (2 1/2) and I catch the look on his face while watching us, or when I am painting or sewing or gardening and he looks at me in such a way that can only be described as loving.

When we make love he shows his vulnerability and love and enjoyment our relationship has.

Love is not just a feeling it is a choice and actions, we choose to stay together and love each other. Sometimes you don't want to be together 24/7 and it is in those times that you choose to love and it resurges even stronger than before. We treat each other lovingly, with respect, we laugh at ourselves and each other. We are our harshest critics and greatest supporters.

Our relationship is not perfect and we work at it but it is all worth it the end of the day when I fall asleep every night in his arms and on those mornings that I am half awake and feel his goodbye kisses that I get even when snoring away.

no not quit. male/female brains are different so men are more physical and express their love through action, like taking out the garbage, giving gifts, etc. whereas women are more verbal and like to communicate their love through words.

sexually, men are more visual (pretty lingerie), and women are more sensual (cuddling).

THUS, these differences are the reason for the many mis communications between couples.
