D is impossible. Mud cracks occur in flood plains where part of the time the surface is underwater and other pars of the day it is not. The mud dries out and forms the cracks. Picture in the source...Obviously, this cannot happen in a deep submarine basin as it is always submerged.

If you mean which -pairings- are incorrect, I would say D:
mud cracks occur when draught occurs over previously wet mud. This cannot occur underwater :)
