Look at what others are charging and the quality they offer for it. Then look at the price of equipment, land buildings. I assume you know how to run a business doing payroll, HR laws and accounting, if not you need to learn that stuff first so you aren't sued before you hire the first employee.
Check the liability insurance and Worker's comp insurance rates
Then once you have an idea if you can make a profit you can write you business plan then if you need a loan go to your lender with your plan.

- A good location, close or beside a gas station.
- Permits
- Cost Estimates - it will depend on the car wash material and what it can do. There are ones that save more water than others or have more features, are more gentle to the car paint, etc. A car wash could start easily at more than $100k.
- Drainage System - where the water is going to go and probably a water recycling machine.
- A Person available that have to refill soap, wax, etc.

Try to find big companies that make car wash to give you ideas. Good luck!

you can actually keep it simple by not having all those equipment. Yes, car wash is always a good biz, as long as u have targetted the right location for the biz. first, a good traffic accessible to homes. I know some people who just open it up in their garage. as long as drainage is good and there is a good space area for them to park, would be ok.

your body's energy is enough to keep it going as starter.
