I know exactky what you mean.
I used to care for my Grandmother. She passed away four years ago. I had moved to a different state and always felt guilty I was not there to help her anymore.
She was always a sweet Grandmother. She had 12 kids! I don't know how she did it! She always had a clean house and never complained! She was a great cook. I am glad to have her old recipes!
Her birthday was only three days ago. She would of been 82. I miss her. I went to her grave when I was home last Christmas. I think of her and Grandpa often. They both were very special people!

i have...i lost my great grandpa 4 days after i was born and i hear about him all the time and saw pictures and i think about him all the time mainly when it gets close to my birthday and i'm 18 now so he's been gone 18 yrs..and my great grandma died New years when i was 9 and i loved her so much and think about her all the time mainly when that holiday comes around. It's normal to think about people you lost because they made a difference in your life and you can't just forget it even though times we all wish we could cause it hurts not being able to see and spend time with them anymore

Yes, just right now...my grandfather died on July 18th, 2006.....so today it makes it a year...he passed away due to cancer. I think about him everyday, and since he passed away i've increasingly noticed the HUGE influence he had in my life, and well still does. He made me feel like my life had a purpose and he completely understood the way i felt, even when i myself didnt. I really miss him and i cant believe it's already been one year.

hi buddy
this is purva here. read you que. deeply grieved on your irrecoverable loss. this is some thing that can never be forgotten. i lost my father long back. i was in that age of life when a persons learns about the world. i cannot forget the innocent face of my father rest in peace. there were many questions i wanted to ask him. but all reamained un answered. i cannot forget his face. but still thats not what life is. i diverted my self and started living for the most valuable faces which i have around me. i live for my mom my brother and those who lives for me. i found the truth of life that everyone lives for someone else that is why the world exists. i have also learned that some one we love is immortal in our minds.

There are a few for me Think of.I don't think we ever stop thinking about them. No matter how many years it has been we remember them as they were.

I lost my mum 4 years ago..suddenly and tragically and it still haunts me everyday.
When i am down i turn to her and think about what she would say to help me with my problems...other times I greive silently for all the big hole she has left in my heart.
I miss her so much and the sense of loss makes it feel like it was only yesterday thats she passed.

Yes, my brother passed away seven years ago, but each time when I think of him, I will be in tears. Now I am in tears....
When he was in hospital for six weeks, I was there everyday to take care of him, so it makes me grew more attached to him. Sometimes, I hope I can see him in my dream, but each time, when I dreamt of him, he just kept quiet and walked away. I really missed him!!
