Is there a site other than www.anime-eden.com that allows you to download anime for free? That means in the format WMV, AVI, MPEG, and Quicktime. Can anyone make any good suggestions?

Or IRC and get it off the fansubbers themselves.
*You'd need torrent programs to run these. Lots of them around, popular ones being BitTorrent, BitComet, Azereus etc. Google on them, lots of info to be found. You'd have to configure them for best download/upload speeds too if you want. In-depth guides can be found on the net as well.

I usually use IRC to dl my anime. If I don't feel like waiting, I open up bitorrent and let it dl overnight. If they offer a direct downloading service, I use that.

well, I download rm files (real player format) coz they're smaller... you can download them at www.realitylapse.com
anyway, there are a lot of sites that host certain anime torrents...
for instance, the ones that aren't liscenced yet, you can download them at www.fansub.tv they have the latest ones..
