a lot of people are there all the time. you just have to get out and take a break from what you're doing like travelling somewhere or going somewhere for the weekend with some friends.

I know exactly where you are coming from. I deal with that everyday. I find myself going over and over the same scenario, which does not change, it's just a different day. I have to keep in mind that I am powerless under uncontrollable, but have the option to make a change. When It starts on the mental level, its harder to not think of those events that encourage our depression, because it's within our environment during our waking hours. We have a tendency to place blame others, weather they are the host of our depression or not, because we need for someone to understand, console, empathize, listen, give us answers even to help us make a decision on an issue in a more rational way, so we don't have to. I cannot tell you the exact answer, but, if have done everything possible, then we are OK with that.

Yeah, is it something in our water?
It seems as technology grows, we feel more empty and left behind. For God's sake we are tearing down nature to build more buildings and then planting some trees and flowers and calling that nature.
There used to be a time we had old-fashioned values and had more of a connection with nature, Our Creator.
Today spirituality is even about commercialism, what white woman with a made-up Indian name to sell watered down yoga, etc.
You are a modern day yogi to help find your true nature of Bliss and to help other awaken to it. Welcome to your journey!
Dude, find the answer within, the bliss in the silence of meditation...don't be tempted by the material sense lures...they will only give you temporary instant gratification.
Something deeper is calling you to pay attention to something beyond this world.
Read "Autobiography of a Yogi" and when you find It within, you'll find it outide.

i know exactly how u feel. i feel that way every day. i kept telling myself that this year would be better and everything will fall into place, it never does. I feel like everyone i know is moving in fast forward and having these amazing times in their lives right now. All while I'm here stuck on pause. Same thing every day.... makes me want to scream.
I don't have wise wisdom to give you, I'm sorry. But for all its worth.... u r not alone, I'm right there with ya. Just keep hoping no matter how had it is.

IT IS SIMPLE......
Get a vacation,
Find a nice hotel,
Dress up nice,
Go to a good upbeat party,
Find a person to get laid (I dont know if you are M/F).
Then not only you have pleasurable experiences but new friends as well.
