I'm one of those people who have that "ringing" in their ears when there is no noise to block it out, I've never heard silence before. Is that sad? I've never heard silence.
Now this got me thinking, it's so weird I've never heard absolute silence, you know? All these people are like "kinda, not really but sometimes" it's like I never get to experience that. Have you ever had a ringing in your ear? Imagine if that's what happened everytime the TV was off and no one was talking. I have to sleep with the TV on because that ringing sound is too much and I can't get to sleep. Ok I know I'm rambling, but I still think this is soo weird. I really wish I could "hear" silence, and I think I have a greater appreciation for it.

I rather fond of hearing my daughter laugh or say cantaloupe..or anything for that matter. I also love music and the sound of rain. Silence can be great at times, but there's nothing like certain sounds to remind you how beautiful life is.

Nope. A girl squealing with an orgasm because of my fancy work is definately #1 in my books (but would be placed second to Ed McMahon's Knock at my door, or similar Jackpot scenario)

Oh yea! Especially after I put 2 loud kids to sleep. The silence is worth it's weight in gold. (if that's possible)

I cant wait for the sounds of silence.
Ahhh the peacefulness.....of course,just as everything becomes perfectly still and quiet,my dog will bark at a tree or something and scare the c**p outta me!

(I'm mom to three little ones....ages 6 yrs, 4 1/2 yrs, and almost 3 yrs.)
Silence is "unheard of" in our house.........no pun intended!
