Some guys here are correct. When you go on drinking, you get dehydrated. Have you ever wondered why your urine is quite clear when you go drinking? That is water being expelled from your body. Therefore if possible while drinking, you have to take in some water to keep your body hydrated.

I was told that before you go on a drinking spree, eat something that is oily or greasy. The oil will coat your stomach and minimize the effect of the acid. Also while drinking, eat some food. If not, your stomach will produce too much acid. I once had a drinking spree from morning to evening without taking in much food, I ended up throwing up for 3 hours to a point I had nothing to vomit.

Also fructose which is found in fruits tends to break up the alcohol. Eat some fruits. Juice can also do the trick or probably a fruit shake.

Headaches is common the next day, take a ibuprofen (pain killer). By the way, there are some medicines that combines paracetamol and ibuprofen. Paracetamol can cause discomfort to you.

I know there are a couple of theories on this, but my personal thoughts are that if hit the bottle really hard you are guaranteed to be dehydrated and have a good amount of metabolic byproduct from you live oxidizing the alcohol. So, drink water, I try to get at least 1-2 liters before I go to bed, I know it's sometimes hard when your tanked, and to get a good amount of carbs in your system to give your liver energy to rid yourself of all that firewater.

Drinking a little more? Lots of Vitamin B? I don't really know. Better to stop having nights of drinking. AA helps a lot of people.
