I would discuss using tampons with your mom, sister or a close friend. Babies come out of your vagina, so NO you're not too small. It sounds like you need some guidance in tampon use. Don't worry, you'll figure it out & you won't end up an old lady, lonely but you might have 60 cats. :)

Look at the little leaflet in the tampon box. See how the tampon goes up and curves. Try a little vaseline to help it glide better. My first time, I went thru of em just practicing! Just when I thought I had it up there, I'd cough and OUT it came. Or I'd think I had it in right, but when I tried walking, it felt like a broomstick was up there.!!!!!!! Don't worry, you'll get to do the sex thing AND have 60 cats if you want to!!!!!!!

Well, it's your first time. It's normal to have problems like this. First of all, you need to make sure you're lubricated enough. If you're having a very light flow, then the tampon will be uncomfortable to put in. Second, you should try the smallest available, like a junior or lite tampon. Your hymen is probably still intact, so it may be blocking it. Just relax. If you're nervous, you'll clench up and it will be more difficult. Your vagina isn't too small. It is actually very flexible. Just practice and it will work. If you're still having problems, talk to your mom or doctor.

You are not aiming right. Do not try to put them straight in. You have to angle them toward the small of your back. The vagina can stretch to accomodate the birth of a baby so there is no such thing as to small. You just have to relax and aim them toward the small of your back If you used the applicatorless ones you really couldn't have missed as you put it in just like you would if you were going to finger yourself.

Push a little harder. You're not gonna die, there's no way your vagina is 3/4 of an inch long. Read the directions that come in the tampon box, it gives you different positions that are more comfortable for different women. Try squatting over the toilet, or laying down, or whatever works for you! :)
Good luck!

Does it hurt when you put it in? Because there's a thing called your hymen, and it's the thin layer that covers your vagina and i'm assuming you've never been sexually active; and it'll hurt when you break through it so if it hasn't really hurt you're not succeeding.

i think your muscles are tense.
when your muscles are tense in your vagina,
they can push the tampon out. you need to relax in
order for the tampon to go in smoothly. good luck
