are psycics real? How does one know if they have this ability?

Today a random thought popped into my head, I was then contacted by a freind I havent talked to in months who left a message regarding the same random thought. It had nothing to do with the day or time. Ive heard of twins feeling eachother mentally. what is that about?

Clairaudience - Intuitive
This is a person who will pick up a thought and hear it. This persons mental or intellectual understanding is very important and they can make good leaders. We all know someone that we would say was a mental person, always having to understand mentally. They carefully think things through. If this person were to become enlightened they would have the ability to become a medium, someone who channels information from entities who have passed over, because their most heightened sensitivity is to hear.

Clairvoyance- Visionary
This is a person who will pick up a thought and see it. This person has the ability to transform a thought into a vision, symbol or in colour by using their mind's eye. If an artist, a decorator, a creative person, someone who mainly uses the right side of their brain were to become enlightened they would have the ability to read auras, our chakras, draw guides and this is how they would channel what they received because the ability to see images is their most heightened sensitivity.

Clairsentience - Prophetic (1)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and just knows it. This person is sensitive to precognition and has hunches, dreams and knowings and this person usually deals with the future or present and how it will affect another. If you were to meet an enlightened Prophetic you would be able to get some information about your 'line of probability', tomorrow is not set in time remember. This could be a person who has a dream about something and that dream turns out to happen in reality. They have the ability of prediction because they 'just know' and can tune into and understand their hunches.

Clairsentience - Feeler (2)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and transform it immediately into a feeling. This persons life can revolve around how it feels to them. Their sense of touch is well-developed and they have the ability to know people by feeling what they feel. After enlightenment, this is someone would have the ability to practice psychometry. The ability to put something belonging to someone in their hand and read the energy. Depending on their other gifts, they could tell the past, present or future from the energy. They have the ability to feel how others feel but only on the emotional level. They will be able to not only empathise but experience their pain, loss, grief etc. For instance, if they were to channel energy from a persons past life they would experience the pain and hurt that that soul experienced in that past lifetime.

Clairgustance - Taste
Clairgustance is being aware of tastes without putting anything physically in the mouth. To perceive the essence of a substance through taste from the spiritual or ethereal realms. The sensation of what one is tasting is often linked to a spirit on the other side.

Claircognizance - Know
The sense of knowing through our brain, even though it is not a physical sense, simply because it has a corresponding metaphysical sense known as claircognizance, or knowing without knowing how you know.

Clairolerance - The Smell
The sense of Smelling different fragrances from Spirits to find that earthly connection, strong odours you can't escape and can't explain a reason for eg: Cooking odours, Perfumes, Perfumes, Cigars or Cigarettes, Flowers, Extra. The characteristic essence linked to a spirit on the other side.

Psychometry - Touch
Psychometry is another form of psychic divination using the sense of touch to get mental impression linked to it. Psychometric impressions may come in the form of emotions, sounds, scents, tastes or images. The visions can appear is single flat images, much like a photo, or as animations. As we exist in an electromagnetic energy reality, metal objects often work best.

Yes psychics are real, and each psychic has different abilities in a number of different catergories.

Telepathy-what you described, is the ability to "hear" anothers thoughts regardless of distance. There have been documented examples.

Telekenisis-the ability to move objects by willing them to move. This ability also usualy presents itself alongside the ability to tell what color an object is by touch alone. A russian telekenitic that was extensivly studied by the KGB in the 70's Nina Kulagina was documented as having both these abilities.

Clarvoyance-the ability to see a point in space distant from where you are now.

Precognition-the ability to see into the future and predict events

Postcognition-the ability to accuratly describe events that happened somewhere (usually where you are now) in the past. (I personaly have this ability to an extrodinary degree)

Reading Auras-initally seems to be the same thing as Empathy, but differs in several respects. Someone who can Read Auras is able to see the energy field that surrounds each person at all times. Carlos Castenada called it the "Luminous Body" While this will give a good indication as to the emotions that someone is feeling at that moment, it also presents a picture as to their innate nature, and illnesses they may be suffering from whithout even knowing it.

Astrial Projection-Is the ability to move in the Unseen Realm or spirit world as a body of spirit. Sort of like Clarvoyance, but you have to be asleep to do it. Furthermore, there are entities that exist in the Unseen Realm that do not have physical counterparts.

These are an accurate portrayal of the different "flavors" of Psychic ability. Honestly, I believe that everyone has some ability, but never bothers to develop it. Psi is like muscles or logical thought, if you don't cultivate it, it withers.

I say this in all sincerity, your experience is legitimate but only in the sense of your personal connection with people. This is what legitimate prayer is based on. However this becomes corrupted when interacting with a psychic. Psychics are usually people who are crafty in the art of manipulating your emotions and your experiences and that's if you are LUCKY. Believe it or not IF you should encounter a GENUINE Psychic you will be far worse off. At least with a fake all you lose is money and respect but when you voluntarily interact with a real psychic you are dealing with people who are closely aligned with demons! Think about it demons live for centuries and they can pass through walls to listen and observe our most intimate activities. It is no wonder that they can share things with a psychic about people that are living or dead and as far away as the other side of the world, demons travel quickly. Demons try to win your confidence and then they ruin your life.

I’m as cynical as most anyone I’ve met and a definite “show me” kinda person, but I’ve met real psychics. I’ve had psychic readings that were not so good, and some right on. I’ve done Tarot readings on people with dramatically accurate results. One was good enough to see in detail a conversation on the other side of the state, though that was only once. Unfortunately I’m not developed enough to declare myself psychic, but I can tell you they are out there. And if any of the cynics out there had done the research out there they’d understand why it’s so difficult to prove. And yes there HAVE been scientifically proven psychics, but the real ones willing to put themselves through all that are so few and far between it goes largely unstudied.

Yes, psychics are real, and we all have some latent psychic ability, just most of us have been so indoctrinated in the mundane world we either have no idea how to use them or don't believe they exist, which would preclude the use of them too. The best way to develop such ability is to use them as much as possible, test them, and do plenty of research. One book I can recommend is You Are Psychic by Pete A Sanders Jr.

Everyone has the potential to be 'psychic'. I prefer to refer it to the study of psionics. Basically, it has everything to do with studying and manipulating energy.
