Ok so I am just "big boned" as some people call it. Or I am a "bigger" person. My school has a certain dress code, and we have to wear Polos. How to I make polos or collard shirts, make me look slimmer, and prettier?

1] make sure your polos have hemmed bottoms and sleeves, vs. banded bottom and sleeves. Banded ones cut you in half, making you look shorter and wider - sleeves do same to arms.
2] buy a brand that fits you well - ladies sizes.
3] can you wear different colors? Pick your most flattering in pastel or bright shade for most flattery.
4] make sure pants also fit well - buy so they fit in the butt, and have tailor alter waist, if necessary. Hems should touch top of foot.
5] wear belts in shade of slacks, so you look longer. Can be made of crochet, lace, ribbon, chain, anything a guy DOESN'T wear!
6] add any allowed jewelry - earrings, madonna type crosses or other necklaces, girly ring or bracelet.
7] Do hair in different styles thru week - braid or braids, high, low, or medium pony , headbanded, top pulled back in barette, chignon, french twist,
loose and curled, loose and straight. Use hair accessories!

well all i have to say is that if you are big-boned, you should definitely NOT buy polos that are too tight. this may sound weird to you, but wearing bigger clothes actually can make you look a lot smaller. but of course you don't want to wear an oversized polo everyday. if you can, try getting a polo/collar shirt that has some curve at the waist area already in it. this will compliment your shape and make you look like the smallest part of you is at your waist.

Try not to get them too tight but yet not to loose, and make sure the material has good quality and you should look really nice. try polo mines fit just right.

If you have an ok chest unbotton it a bit but keep an under shirt under it. I'm not if it'll help but it looks so cute! I do it with all my collared shirt, but I hate pollos, the shirt sleeves with the collar look awful together.

if you go to areopostale they uslally make their polos longer and they usually make people look slimmer
