Wouldn't they have better things to do like share their wisdom and technology with us or eat us and steal our planet's natural resources? Why do people who claim to have been abducted by aliens always say that they were anal probed? It seems like such a waste.

Maybe it's the easiest way for them to decide if we are edible or not. Seriously, is it easier to hold some one down and then jab them with a needle only to discover they are dehydrated and the blood is hard to get and just sort of oozes out or just hold them down and shove a big stick up their ***?
Maybe it is part of their master plan... maybe they are genetically modifying us slowly so that they can metabolize us, and the anal probes are part of testing to see how the process is going.

Hi ...thats an interesting question .... As much as I would agree that we "MAY" have aliens in our outer space, according to the reasearches running all around the world, the possibility of a place like another earth in the vast universe is only possible thousands of light years away...So the assumption stands that they should either be way better at science than us or may be they should be way behind us ... Assuming that the aliens are way better and have come to earths atmosphere .... they might want to test our physical and analytical capacities before they try to communicate or may be take over us :) ... So they might do some physical tests on the ones abducted .... All the above was a HYPOTHESIS ...
But according to some of the programmes in DIscovery channel and books, we dont have a hard evidence that there are aliens (At the same time we dont have evidence that they are not there) so assuming that they are not there and the people who claim to have been abducted have some sort of a mentral illusions ... we can say that they have never been abducted.... Otherwise the above hypothesis would be true ...

I always liked the comment one of the scientists who worked on the SETI project made when a true believer asked why they hadn't contacted the races associated with crop circles, livestock mutilations and abductions.
He said, "We were looking for INTELLIGENT life."

Because they weren't abducted. Not by aliens at least. I would think human abductors would be more prone to do that.

They might be curuious to see why so many people have their heads up their a~~es! :)
As for their technology--would you give knowledge that advanced to a species that still used mutual genocide as a way of settling problems?
