Actually, non-alcoholic beer does not taste so bad. Anyway, one reason to drink it is if you're at a party and you don't want people to always bug you by asking why you're not drinking - you can just go around with a glass of non-alcoholic beer.

I do have a few alcoholic friends that swear by it though. If it helps them stay sober, you can't argue with a good result.
