I would be taking it for a toothache and tylenol does nothing for the pain. Will it cause my period to get heavy if I take it?

Aspirin or products containing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (e.g- Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, etc.) These thin the blood and slow clotting of the blood.
Taking Ibuprofen won't make you bleed more but it will help reduce blood clots, thus preventing cramps.

Not that I've ever heard of -- and ibuprofen is actually an anti-inflammatory. I would think it would have the opposite effect if any.
