USPS has free Priority Mail boxes that are tubes - check out their website and see if the dimensions might work for you. You can pick them up at your Post Office. The weight of the item and distance of shipping might be really high though. I don't know how much a driveshaft weighs.

Do a google search for shipping companies and freight forwarders in your area.

Shipping companies are companies that are used to shipping heavy or bulky items.

Freight Forwarders are brokers, they take your shipment and arrange whatever shipping is needed for your item to go where they need to.

In either case, you are looking for companies that dop "LTL" shipping, that means they take less than a full load, combine several loads together for shipping. It takes more time, but costs the least.

Good luck.

Weight and size will depend on if UPS or FedEx will even bother. If its too large, then you have to find a trucking company to ship it. I would suggest calling a few local companies to see how much they charge.
