Year is 2000.
Kelley blue book says that it has 4 cylinders. however, most other sources list it as "parallel twin-cylinder." Does parallel twin-cylinder mean 4 cylinders? is it truly 4 cylinders, or just a fancy version of 2? Will this bike perform well at high speeds, as one would expect of a 4 cylinder engine?

I know the difference between Cylinders and stroke. The standard number of Cylinders for this bike is 2--that is why I was surprised to see it list 4 on kelley blue book (see for yourself: http://www.kbb.com/kbb/OtherVehicles/PricingReport.aspx?VehicleId=Ny8yMC8yMDA3fDY5ODY3&ManufacturerId=18&VehicleClass=Motorcycle&PriceType=Trade-In&YearId=2000 ).

by the way: i'm asking specifically about the year 2000 motorcycle. I am aware that other years have different numbers of cylinders. I specifically am asking about a 2000 bike.
