That's easy. Either NIN or Marilyn Manson would make for good theater. I am not good at casting, so I'd have to think about that one.

I would like to see a movie about INXS.
Michael Hutchence was a charismatic, sensory man with an amazing amount of talent and stage presence, along with an unfortunate amount of relationship issues and sexual fetishes. Being in such an important band with his brothers makes the story even more layered and interesting. The fact that Michael lost his sense of taste at the height of his career (a side effect from a punch-and-fall incident in the wee hours of one morning) after relying on taste for much of his inspiration and pleasure (he was a huge fan of wines and women).

I know Almost Famous is loosely based on touring with Zeppelin but I'd love to se a movie totally based on the real deal. Sublime would be a sad tale but a good one also. All the drama in Van Halen could be a damn good flick too.

sublime would be sweet, but i'm thinking more of the mighty mighty bosstones. or a whole ska review. like everything from all the orange county deep rooted legends to those who've gone one to be even bigger than ever. like no doubt and less than jake and others like that. i don't know if that's current but ska's just one of those scenes where no one was at war. it's fun and.
or you could just tape a conversation of henry rollins and the guys in fugazi talking about the good old days. that'd be sweet. but i think they already made that movie. American Hardcore, was it?

U2 might be interesting...I don't actually know that much of their history, but what with Bono's activism and their ongoing success, it might be interesting and have a fair plot. Otherwise, Red Hot Chili Peppers would be cool- I'd like to see the development of their sound, and I'd definitely watch a movie with an all-RHCP soundtrack.

I would love to see a movie abut Pink Floyd. it would just be so interesting, since the history of the band is very interesting. i have no idea who can play who, but during Catch Me if You Can, I noticed that Leonardo DiCaprio (or however you spell his name) look a little like David Gilmour... but who knows.

I'd love to see a movie about Bloodhound Gang or Primus. They just seem like cats who have some great stories to share.

I'd love to see a movie on Alanis Morissette.
No matter how many people dislike her or think she's weird, she is still incredibly intelligent and an amazing writer.
