How do acting auditions usually work? I mean what do they want you to do exactly. What do they want to see? Do they ask too many questios? What do you do in there overal????? And one more thing! do they give you the script and expect you to memorize it all or they let you read and act?????

Unfortunately, there are no real answers to this. It depends on what you're auditioning for, largely.

They will usually either have you read a piece you've prepared, or have you read something "cold". This "cold" piece is usually a small exerpt from the play you're auditioning for. Be sure, if this is the case, that you use clear diction, and MOVE. Don't stand still while you read, and don't sway aimlessly. Show emotion as best you can. They don't expect you to be able to read it perfectly your first time, so just do your best!

If they ask you to read a piece you've prepared, try to keep it around a minute in length. Do NOT use a piece from the play you're auditioning for if this is the case. However, you may want to choose a piece that is a humorous or dramatic, based on the tone of the part you're auditioning for.

You will almost never have to memorize a script for a cold piece. You will have the script in your hand. Just be sure not to cover your face with it. :P

I'm assuming that, if they want you to have a prepared piece, they will tell you before you come to the audition. It's always good to have a go-to piece prepared that you always have memorized, though.

Break a leg, and remember, SMILE!

Depends on what you are aditioning for. If you are for a musical the might ask you to read a monoloug(you choose) and sing a song. for a TV show or play or movie Probably say here is the script you are reading lines whith him and her from the top of act two. But talk to the poeple before you go on an adition and ask:

What are you looking for?
What do I need to have prepared?
What are the time(s) I need to be there?
What time do you think it will get over?
Should I bring a lunch or snack or something?

it depends on the theatre company but often you'll have to wait in a line and read straight from the script... (so that's 2 questions down i guess) they want you to read the lines as much into character as possible (a good actor usually "becomes" the character)(another 2 questions answered) and overall you act as you would if there's an audience

It's hard to say because no two auditions are ever the same. Go to the audition and do what they ask of you.

I was going to answer this, until I read Sean C's response.

I have nothing to add.
