somthing could be damaged in ur registry .. possibly from a virus .. maybe from a screwed up application or uninstall ...

This is because a program hangs due to a registry error when the computer shuts down. Generally, these errors can't be fixed until the software is identified and reinstalled, if possible.

It is probably because you did something that the computer did not handle correctly. What I mean is that a program, spyware, adware, or a virus is changing the way you computer works. It was probably cause because you install, downloaded, or visited a website. Try running security software if that does not fix the problem then revert the computer back to an early date. If it persist contact someone with more computer knowledge.
