We know what he is accused of, in the US you are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Being accused is not a conviction of guilt.

indicted means this. In the US when you are charged with a crime it goes before a grand jury - they review the evidence and decide wether or not it should go to trial - if they decide yes - then you are indicted. then it goes to trial.. dont get me wrong we have the best system in the free world however you could sneeze the wrong way and get indicted.

It specifies what the defendant is "accused" of doing. Which may or may not have anything to do with what he really did.
