Sometimes when my mom and I go shopping, she tries stealing things by sticking them in my purse w/o me knowing. and then if we get caught, she BLAMES me. and know I'm banned from the mall in our town.
What can I do 2 fix it?

At the register, take the item out of your purse every time she puts something in it and say in front of the cashier "Mom, I don't want this" and put it on the belt for the cashier. Your mom will be embarrassed. If she keeps doing it, every time you go to the checkout with her do the same thing over and over until she is tired of getting embarrassed and she won't do it anymore and you won't be used as a ginipigg. She can't get arrested unless she walks out of the store with the unpaid product. Tell her you don't want a criminal record and if she wants a criminal record, she can put it in her purse. Also when you take the product out of your purse, don't be serious about it. Look at your mom and the cashier and joke about how you don't want it. You might want to pre-warn your mom that you plan to embarrass her if she tries to put anything in your purse.
Embarrass her out of the habit, that's what I would do.

Yes, she is very wrong and I'm sorry you don't have a good decent mother like you deserve. If you can, try to never go shopping with her again. If you can't avoid it, make sure that once you are in the store, you completely seperate yourself from her. Also make sure you leave the store seperately. Maybe give a security guard a heads up so they can catch her on tape so she can't blame you.

she is definately wrong. The next time you go shopping with her:
-dont bring a purse with you, or
-carry your purse closed and very full so she cant put anything in.
-if that Somehow doesnt work, keep it close 2 u and check it before u leave a store 2 see that theres nothing stolen.

uh, yeah you should put an end to that if this is a serious question. cause guess what, the store alarm goes off and the item is in your purse---you will get blamed! And you will have to take responsibility!

Your mom is VERY wrong. I think in order to fix it you should not go shopping with your mother. In fact if my mom did that I wouldn't even go around her anymore.

I would put your money in your pockets from now on,
so you wont have a purse for her to put stuff in.
you should talk with your mom about it and tell her
that that isnt fair.

Mayb u ve to take her to a psychologist....am sori if i sound bad but no mother wld put their child to misery or shame.
Pls consult ur dad or any other adult in ur family.
(If not her character might change for the worse)

Suggest to your mother she seek therapy for her kleptomania. Shop with your friends instead of your mom - she's a bad influence.
