You can get a lot of "interesting info" by going through her trash or papers in the recycling bin! In most areas, it isn't even illegal! Even the cops do this! For example, you can get all kinds of account numbers, credit card & banking info, stock & investment stuff, other personel info, what medicines she takes, what kinds of stuff she reads, old love letters, what clubs & organizations she belongs to, dunning notices, what long distance #s she calls and the like. You can even tell if she is seeing someone; look for used condoms! Its easiest to do this by just taking the whole trash bag, and switching it for another (don't leave anything that can be traced to you!). That way you can sort through it at your leasure. You might have to swipe the garbage for several weeks to get the best "dirt".

I want you to know I am an ex-wife.

Depends on how far you want to go back and what you are looking for. One place is the county court house. Anything illegal, disturbances, court cases, arrests, etc, is public record. Most counties have computers, just put her name in and if there is anything, you will know.

If you are looking for recent activity that does not involve any type of city or court involvement. You will probably have to pay for it, unless your friend is a PI

You negativity is bogging you down, you can't think clearly or get on with a healthy life. Whatever the reason you want dirt on your ex really isn't a good enough reason to neglect your heart and soul.

As long as you're digging, she's still gotcha.

Why don't you let by gones be by gones...forgive her, (yes, whether she deserves it or not. Forgiveness is for YOUR benefit, not hers.) move on and get free in your life!

Or barring that, remember the old Chinese proverb: When you're digging up dirt to seek revenge, you first dig two graves.
