it is incredibly tremendously worry-free for a canines to bruise/wreck their tails. satisfied/excitable canines, who wag their tails plenty, tend to whack their tails via mistake on tables, partitions, and so on, and harm themselves. it is why some breeds (particularly ones with long, whippy tails, like dobermans, and canines who do paintings, like spaniels) get their tails docked as doggies. My neighbor's lab became into incredibly excited and wagging her tail no longer worry-free/quickly and whacked it on a door via mistake. She broke her tail, and because it is not worry-free to place a forged on a tail (on the grounds that a canines will by no skill carry it nonetheless and it is totally long and skinny), she had to have her tail amputated. It does not sound broken, in basic terms because of the fact she isn't yelping once you squeeze it. Is it swollen in any respect? supply it some days, then call the vet if no longer something gets greater effective.
