I would say yes. He is still living in ancient times, if they do not allow priest to marry, it will be a dying broke religion, because, not many true heterosexual teens look forward to a life of celibacy in the priesthood.

The Pope is the CEO of the most corrupt, discriminatory corporation in the western world. The Los Angeles church just paid $660 million to victims of sexual abuse inflicted by priests on young boys and girls. And you ask if the Pope is corrupt the church moves these perverts from one parish to another when complaints are filed, and the Pope knows!

Yes, but not because he has absolute power, the church is absolutely corrupt, the pope is just the spokesperson.

The Pope does not have absolute power.
Are you talking about Papal infallability? That only occurs when the Pope is making a pronouncement he feels comes from God, and is rare. While I disagree with the concept, it is hardly absolute power.

Absolutely. Popes (all of them) condone and cover up all of the sexual misconduct and pedophilia that goes on in the Catholic Church. It is not natural for man to live without sex and they obviously are not successful at requiring the priests to do so either.
