Tried it, lost some weight, didn't like it, gained weight back.

Have you looked into eDiets.com? They have great menus. Low Carb diets are full of fats and salt. Not healthy for your heart.

I'm with you on the dark chocolate arm, I would chew mine off, too.

Low carb diets are not for people who want to lose a couple lbs. It's not conducive to a healthy lifestyle. It's only for people who are so overweight, that the health risks are greater to continue to be that fat, than they are for being on a low-carb diet.

There isn't a healthy diet that will tell you that you can't eat a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce and mushrooms, a glass of OJ, or an apple.

Portion control, and Fat are the two most important dietary controls.

Excersize at least 20 minutes a day about every other day or so. Work up a sweat. In time, your body will develope a higher metabolism, and keeping fat off will be easier.

Low carb diets leave your body missing key things it needs to work efficiently, and to keep you as healthy as you can be.

I'm on low carb, but not drastic like most of the diets.
I do 35-50 grams of carbs 3 times a day.
Have you tried the Atkins bars? The have a low glycemic index.
Message me for more info.
And no, I'm not trying to sell something. Read my profile.

I've tried low-carb dieting..I liked that it was working right away and my tummy was going down..it was'nt feeling all bloated as usual..but what I did'nt like was feeling drained...carbs give you the energy that you need all day..without it you will feel like a rag doll...and this diet does'nt last long either you will eventually go back to normal eating and gain the weight back..

I followed a very restricted, low carb diet for several months and lost 76 pounds. I gained half of it back when I started eating normally again.

Diets are a stupid choice, for lazy people. her's the "diet of goodness"
-eat whatever you want whenever you want as much of you want
-be active, play sports work out EXERSISE
-dont be a lazy bum and expect diets to do anything

also, not eating carbs is unhealthy and not practical for your entire life umless you plan on never eating bread again

You would do better doing the Glycemic Index diet. Nothing is off limits. You just have to be picky about what you select to eat.

I did it several years ago. It works - until you start eating like a normal person again. If you want chocolate - whip up some whipping cream and add some equal and cocoa to it....it will curb your craving.

I have, you dont have to worry about carbs as long as you are active and exercise every day in some way.
