Nothing beats a quality central vac system. We especially love the notion of the "power dust pan" under the kitchen cabinets. Hit it with your foot, sweep the crap at it, and it disappears.

I just researched vacuums and the Miele came out the best. It's not cheap, but what a great machine. I love mine. Check them out! (It's pronounced like Sheila).
