Highlight to him as how you did in this forum...and if he doesn't improve or doesn't have a logical explanation...then either live with it or move on.

Did you say fiance? That means you will be getting married and it is not uncommon for men to react in this way before they get married. We men are a strange species and often before marriage we want to send a subliminal message that we would like to maintain some sense of freedom after we are married. The best thing my friend is to talk to him about it. Put into practice the one thing your marriage will mandate from the both of you....communicating your feelings. Give it a try and everything will work out fine.

Think hard about whether you really should marry this guy. He won't change. They never do. It starst with this kind of stuff.. an almost always gets worse.

Or you could ask him why he is always late picking you up. I feel you don't respect me because I am never picked up on time? Why is that? Get ready for an asnwer you might not like.

well you should probably tell him how you feel about it. To him he might not even acknowledge that he does that but if you introduce the problem to him then he should be able to understand right after you tell him. Just try to talk to him about it and I'm sure that he will try his best to work on it for his fiance

There is a phrase "why do we hurt the ones we love the most?" and that applies here. I am the same way. My husband said that if my parents/family/friends call, I will try to move the earth, but I sigh when he wants a coke!!! I am trying to do better.......

Make other plans. Your probably making it too easy for him.

I also agree with the above answer... tell him to hurry up, and be a little more demanding. Show him who wears the pants!

Think very hard before considering marriage. If he isn't willing to be considerate now, just think how it will be when you're married...not very often does it get better! It sounds as if you deserve to be treated better! Good luck!!

Haha good luck with that.....guys! My husband is still like that....just be patient, and realize what means the most to you....does it matter more that he doesn't "rush", or that he treats you right?

Ask him straight up why it takes him so long maybe he is getting ready to see you and could care less what he looks like when he is with his friends.

Ask him what is taking him so long. If you know him well enough to tell whether or not he is lying, then you would know if he is lying when he gives you his story. If he is lying, ask him to tell you a different story...
