Because of all the homeless animals in this country, I think you should have a license to bred and all others have to have their pets spayed or neutered. It would also help with the awful mills that pump out animals for Mall pet stores. Maybe if you wanted your kids to experience a pregnancy and birth by your pet, you should have to have a license and a plan for the new ones that are born. Yes I know it is alot of interference in our life by our already intrusive government, but as you can tell by the number of pets that are murdered each year by Humane Shelters, the so called responsible pet owners are not doing a good job, so someone has to make them.

The pedigree comment is bull because you can get much healthier animals out of mix as well as breed in more diverse capabilities, thats were 'purebreeds' come from, however I think all cats and dogs should be spayed/neutered,or the owner has to have a license, and owners should have to take their animals some were other than the dead end streets in the country in order to be rid of them for free. I've lost tons of animals because of people like that, and some of them were large pure breeds that nobody wanted anymore, most of them just old enough to start breeding or already pregnant, and all of them sent to a slow painful death.

Yes, I believe animals should be fixed. There are too many animals on the streets. It's really sad to see animals going hungry, and at least where I live freezing out in the snow all winter.

yes, animals should be spayed and neutered. it makes me mad when i see an unfixed, pregnant or dog that has had puppies. i hate it, especially when rich people dont do it (they got the money if they dont put it to good use) or anyone who doesnt spay/neuter an animal!
no animal should be uthanized at the shelter because its not fixed, its not their fault, its the people who owned it, or turned its parents loose! (born in the wild)

Non pedigrees should be spayed, it is ok to breed an animal that is purebred with papers, healthy, breed standard and will benifit the breed with its offspring. All strays and non pedigrees should be fixed at 12 weeks old.

Definetely spay & neuter. My cat just had to be put asleep last night because he got in a fight with another male cat and was badly injured. This wouldn't have happened if he were neutered. :(

Definitely. I do believe it is one of the key steps to being a responsible pet owner. The pet is better behaved and easier to take care of. (No spraying and such) There are to many unwanted pets out there already.
