Settle the debate.

One half of the equation wants your traditional church wedding, white cake, white frosting, pomp and circumstance kind of affair. Sit down dinner, dancing, toasts.

The other party wants a laid back, "my way" style wedding, with yellow cake, chocolate frosting, come dressed as you are, outdoor ceremony. Barbecue and hang out session.

What will it be?

And the second one mentioned an Elvis impersonator.

I think that you can do a little bit of both...do a combination of both styles to have a fun and relaxing wedding..just make that you are 100% satisfied with all of your decisions because that is a day that you will never forget...

I had a very layed back wedding outside. No barbecue catered and the cake came from a local Sam's club.

I'd go with "my way". But I'd skip the Elvis impersonator (I'm not a great fan of fake Elvis).

"may way" would be my choice... maybe white dress to satisfy one part of the equation but go for the CHOCOLATE CAKE

It's all up to the bride. It's her day. If I were the groom, I'd be saying, "Just tell me where to be, what to wear, and when to be there."
