I spent the night in Blythe, CA
its really hot there, it was 115F at 11pm,
think it was 123F that day, but I am not sure.
it felt like someone was pointing a space heater in your face the whole time when your outside.
the hotel rooms looked just like everywhere else, but the windows did not open.
I went to one store in the morning I left, and it was over 100F before sunrise.
its not that the high temperature is the absolute highest, but it just never cools off there.
the people seemed fine, but there must be something not normal in a person to get them to make a home there.
its a really hot place where not many plants grow at all, mostly dirt, rock, buildings, roads and people.

I saw a doco last night and this guy was walking on that volcanic island in Hawaii and the soles of his boots caught on fire so that must be it.
