In a recent poll the Blair came out 12th.

I'm surprised, I would have put him 13Th.

Like myself, many people I work with who Have Always Voted Labour will either not vote at all, or will vote Lib/Dem, either way its a waste of time voting, as none of the politician's listen to the people.

As for the Nanny state.
If you are a Mugger, Murder, rapist, Conman, Britain is a safe haven. BUT if you smoke in the wrong place or leave your wheelie bin outside your house you get fined. And If you are a really EVIL person like a Little old age pensioner who struggles to make ends meet and don't pay your council tax YOU WILL GO TO JAIL.

Nanny State More like barmy state

well i never voted for a P.C. state, I think if you look back at all the P.M's over the last 70yrs, you'll find they all had their good points as well as their bad points, OK Tony Blair was the exception to the rule. I think its time we all decided what we want for our country and started insisting we get what we want, and if the elected government doesn't deliver, then we should make it clear we are not happy, unfortunately we suffer with apathy in this country and just moan about the state of our country. Should we not learn from the French, when they don't like something they stand together and shut the country down, we should do the same.

Parliament is much older than 70 years, it,s more like 1,000 years old, and in another recent poll, they put ATLEE No 1, Harold Wilson No 2, so Tony Blair has a very creditable position. They took us from an oppressive tyrant state specifically designed for the ruling upper classes, a state in which you could vote tory, tory, tory, the wigs, or tory.I will always vote for a government for EVERYONE even you.

It tells us there as been no one else to vote for , or else Blair would have been a one hit wonder , and to the superficial little cow who knocked Winston Churchill , he was the man who helped this country win a war , where part of our population would have been murdered and the other part used as slaves, so arrogant people like her could have a say without being beaten , people like her make me sick , the do good brigade who would sell your country down the river .

Well said Ian s, Thatcher wouldn't make my list of humans; as for polls, they are worthless unless we know who devised them and what the question was.
I don't vote, but in a poll of all the parties, Labour would still top the list of 'Party most likely to be voted for'

I'm sure this was a very superficial and inconclusive poll. Winston Churchill probably came out top but that's only because we've forgotten what a mysogenous, arrogant b*****d he was and just remember him for 'his' speeches. Just wait for 50 years and then I'll trust your poll.

That people finally saw through him. but it still leaves the cattle in parliament on the labour back benches, who allowed him to get away with it for so long.
