I would also say craigslist its a real good place to find tanks I have gotten two out of my three tanks off craigslist. It gives you a chance to see what your buying. But what your going to want to look out for is over pricing alot of people like to over price used items so before you offer a price research the tank.

Some of the best tank prices I have ever gotten were from local classified ads in the paper. Check your town plus any within a reasonable drive assuming you have a way to transport the tank. For a large tank like that, a 100 mile drive each way would still be cheaper than the shipping.

When you select a best answer, you get 3 points added back to your current points. When you have an answer selected as best you get 10 points plus one for each thumbs up that answer had. So if you answer a question, the answer gets 5 thumbs up and it is selected as best, you would get 15 points while the asker that selected it as best would get 3 back.

Why not your local newspaper? Where I live we have a paper that comes out called "the Bargain Mart" and I have seen several tanks in it for very reasonable prices. On the net (at least in my state) you can go to ie. Kentucky.com. Tons of used items for sale.

I'd try craigslist.org. You'd be surprised what people will give away, or sell cheaply.
