Don't believe that nonsense, the Republicans decided that the Christians were easy to please. Promise to promote family values and fight against abortion and you will have them lock stock and barrel. You don't have to actually do anything, just give them the lip service. It is all so transparent, there is no indication that bush jr is a christian. We has fooled a lot of people, many of my friends I hate to say.

Just because they mandated as you say for non-Republicans, does not mean they themselves abide by the standard they choose to jam down the peoples throats.
Family Values can only be gotten by a right relationship with God the Father and only if one practices what they read. It does work!
Then and only then glass houses will not break.

Family Values should be a part of every household. The family is the foundation of this nation, isn't it? The ideal is indeed a Father, Mother, and home. It doesn't always work that way, unfortunately, but it doesn't mean we cannot strive to make it better for future generations.

On this page I will be exposing the hypocrisy of the Republican Party when it comes to family values. They claim to be the party of family values, but in reality often has reprehensibly low standards when it comes to family values. This is not to say that Democrats are perfect when it comes to family values, they obviously aren't, but it appears that Democrats appear to be normal human beings with normal problems. Republicans appear to have worse "family values" than Democrats in practice, despite their claims that they believe in family values, they don't seem to practice them very well. And I'm not saying that 100% of the activities listed below are wrong or immoral (obviously, homosexuality is not), but I'm saying that denying oneself and being a hypocrite about the family values you claim to have is.

Joeysback says it perfectly! When Vitter said Clinton was "morally unfit" to lead it was before he perjured himself. So whether Vitter confessed or not the fact is he is not "morally fit" to lead and shoulf resign.He broke a law of his church and he broke the law in New Orleans and Washinton D.C. of using the services of prostitutes. I feel pity for his wife and children, and he should do right by them and step down, remove himself from the public eye. It would be just pure greed and self intrest on his and his wife's part to continue in politics, stick a fork in him he's done.

I think they meant it for all--that is why we get people going into seclusion because they bought a prostitute's services. Get real, folks! No one has a corner on "morality", especially in this country that fills us with mixed messages all day and night, 24/7. And, anyone (or any political party) who tries to act like they are "perfect" is just heading for the fall!
I have to laugh when I see these womanizers, adulterers, drunks and coke heads (including Dubya) scrambling around trying to find "excuses" for their behavior. We're all human--we all make mistakes! Instead of setting themselves up as our "moral guides" they would do better to just try to "love their neighbors"! (And, NOT in the 'biblical sense'--lol)

Its funny you should say that. I just read some statistics on this idea of "Family Values" and conservatives...it seems they throw them down our necks because they can't figure them out themselves.

You fail to mention the communists in the DNC. Outright socialism is the literal mainstream democrat platform. From health care, to gun control, to mandated formats on radio, speech codes, abortion, euthanasia, EVERYTHING! The democrat platform is really the communist platform. If it looks and smells like communism, well...

From then right through to Clinton's red Chinese support, to Kerry being honored in the north VC communist museum for his support during Vietnam we see that it is the Democrats who are willing to squander our national inheritance, our freedom itself to those who run the gulags.

They (republicans) tend to be very hard on the sinner, not realizing that as much as we know of God's will, what can happen to you, can happen to me.
And the worse thing is that they don't understand their deficiency. Its the same deficiency that makes them pervert the values of America
