Yes. Cabana Del Mar in Carolina Beach. In 1987. We got soooo drunk that we broke the glass table, broke the sliding glass door to the balcony, broke the mirrior....
Another person in our group went down to the front desk and rented another room, and we moved into it. Those days there was no credit card, we just paid cash for the room...

I had a friend who did for an upscale hotel. She liked it until hiring illegals and lowering pay became the norm. There was a time when less desirable jobs had to pay well enough to keep employees. Now there is more "competition" with illegals who will work for slave wages in a labor-flooded market created by a corrupt, corporate-controlled government that won't enforce the law or uphold The Constitution.

I do, clean up, strip the bed and leave a tip.
