Dollar a SF of living space is a GOOD price to pay. That is what I get in the midwest when painting 8' walls with flat ceilings, one color of paint. When the ceiling and walls contrast the price will be higher.

That would depend, How many colors ?, does it need to be primed ?, how much cutting in ? Any texture being used ?, Does furniture need moving ?. Who is paying for the paint ?, Any repairs to the wall's? , There are a few more variables.
I usually charge about .50-.75/sq.ft depending on the answers to some questions.

About a dollar a Sq.Ft, without any specialties like texturing. These are extras and the materials are extras. Anything out of the ordinary are extras.
