Seems to me, we have no clear-cut enemy there? Seems the legally elected government is the one we wanted (sort of...), so who, pray tell, IS the enemy that you want to "beat"???

In the words of George Bush, "Mission accomplished!" So now it is time to leave. We would not be surrendering to anyone. Turn full control over the the new Iraqi government and go home... but wait! There is this issue of oil and the USA government and big oil in the USA and the UK want it so we cannot leave until we cut a deal to steal about 70% of the future Iraqi oil production. I sure as hell would not give up my natural resources if I were an Iraqi!

We would be surrendering to an ideology of hatred and domination, presently the largest tangible evidence of this is alQaeda.
No "clear cut enemy" is rather naive after we have been terrorized and murdered all of the globe for more than 25 years - I think it's a pretty clear cut enemy - one that needs to be confronted and defeated.

Terrorists!

If we surrender in defeat? Then to more clearly define the enemy would be a combination of democrat and terrorists.

The terrorists in Iraq absolutely eat it up when the democrats say for us to leave, they say "Oh boy, Now we can attack the America, and we'll all go to heaven"

But do the DEMOCRATS understand that, maybe not, maybe that's why they want us out of Iraq, they can't see past their Loooooong noses.

MR. MAGOO,

More like STUPIDITY!

There are so many factions involved, that we'd have to publicly announce our "surrender" to be sure that every one of the possible enemy factions was aware of it.

And many would think it was a trick, and ignore it anyway.

No. There is no single other opponent we could surrender to.

if we pull out of iraq....terrorism has won....

that may not mean much to you...but to me it means we have forgotten how to protect our shores...or much worse...

we don't want to protect our way of life... we have lost our will ..we no longer hold dear to freedom...we take for granted it will always be ours...

but freedom don't come free... many have paid dear so that we can voice our opinions...so that we can express how much we hate our government...our president ...

we can live the life that we choose to live ....

and as far as i'm concerned... if we cannot defend our country..if we cannot stand against idiots who believe they will get 72 virgins if they kill infidels....we don't deserve the freedoms our fathers have afforded us....
