Crested geckos are somewhat slower than leopard geckos. Crested geckos mostly hang out, are fairly active during the night and can be hand trained.

I have both. The 20 would be good for a crested, though they do like to climb and many experts will recommend a tall cage instead of a tank. Mine is fine in a tank, just do your homework to provide what it needs. They don't need heat or lights at all. Just little gutloaded crickets, fruit baby food, and they even make a crested diet (mine doesn't like it, but I still offer it to him). They are nocturnal, like Leos, and he only moves around at night.

They are about the same. I would say leopard geckos are more calm.

cresteds are mainly active at night. they need areas to climb. 20gal should be good for1.
