By the way, I'm not talking about 'in the bedroom'. I am talking about everyday life and situations.

I realize I'm probably gonna get some thumbs down for this, but when he does it with respect then yes I do feel more feminine. However, I have somewhat of a submissive personality when it comes to relationships. I don't mean that as I like to be controlled or lorded over, but I want my man to be a take charge kind of guy. It is definitely a turn on for me too both in and out of the bedroom.

we all know that in a household the couple must work as one and the husband "no longer has the final say in the matter". I suggest that you wake up and realize that the women do have a lot of voice in the house.

if you were supposed to live with a female, do you honestly believe that you can "lay down the law" in the house? if your answer is yes, then she will be forced to kick you out of the house.

I knew you were asking the question, even before I was finished reading it.
When my husband lays down the law, I doubt our Sweet Baby, (Golden Retriever) thinks he's serious, because she wags her tail, rolls over, gets up and licks his face. Then my husband lavishes her with treats. I guess I'll ask her tonight if that makes her feel more feminine.

If "lays down the law" means getting up off the couch & mowing the lawn for once. Heck yeah! What makes me feel the most feminine is when I'm outside mowing the lawn, he sees you hot & tired, then brings you bottled water & sez, I'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE. That man has a guaranteed night of loving & S*X

My husband doesn't "lay down the law", never has and I doubt he ever will. He's not that kind of man. If he did NO, I wouldn't feel more feminine, I'd feel like he thinks I'm a child.

No. How would it? I mean, if someone did that to someone else, then it'd feel like being in the military or boot-camp. And boot-camp and the military are NOT feminine. So no, I would not feel 'feminine' or even like it. I'm not sure how you think anyone would.?

No. I feel inferior and I hate that. I hate a bossy man!! OMG it is the most annoying thing. I don't hang out with a lot of girls because they talk SO much. But for my man to talk SO much and be bossy with it....No Way. I hate that.

No not in everyday situations.. I like to make my own decisions.. cause I know what is best for me, but I will always try and compromise.

It's not really a "feminine" feeling when someone starts a fight. "It's my way or the highway, lady...."

Not that he's ever pulled a stunt like that, but I think the main reaction to that kind of immature, demanding behavior would be anger.

Kind of like when one of the kids pitches a temper tantrum. They get their way for the moment, but there are consequences.

Most men get very uncomfortable with the consequences of this behavior, ie: "My wife doesn't seem interested in sex anymore...."

So he may get his way, but, Bingo, Consequences.....
