yes, for example, my world history teacher in high-school (way back when....) was famed for doing a little hop-skip-jump during his lectures. I never looked at him until the very end of the semester, then saw him do it and fell out of my chair laughing. All the other kids had already seen it for months, so it wasn't funny to them anymore. But I managed to make the class laugh again with me!

I usually laugh when something is important...it's a way of coping....I'm currently going through a really hard time in my life so I seem to laugh a lot

Yes,when someone is crying,I luagh and cheer th eperson up,sometimes they take me the wrong way =( but oh well,even when I have my problems I try my best to laugh,it's the best way to cheer up your heart and it's also good in relieving anxiety,even for the slightest moment =)

Yes - my entire family does it. We often laugh that we put FUN back in FUNeral.
When someone dies, when something bad happens, after a traumatic situation - we all cry laughing over it. It's a coping mechanism which is often looked on as inappropriate by my husband's family - which makes me just pee my pants when they take things seriously.

yeah, my boss likes to shoot me down and tell me when things aren't funny. but if I don't laugh at the s##t that happens at work, I'd cry instead and then I'd have to do my makeup all over. who am I kidding. I don't put that much effort into makeup.
