Has anyone been to Darien Lake? Is it good for kids around 10 or too tame? What about their lodge, is it nice?

ahh darien lake its perfect fo kids that age especially at the water park which is very kid oriented. As fo the lodge i have no idea as i have never stayed there. Check out all their fun shows and stuff at night laserblast le grande cirque etc..

The amusement park, formerly owned by Six Flags, is pretty good. There are four rollercoasters that should test anyone's nerves, and a twister ride that will do more than that (how does seven straight flips sound?). In fact, it may be a little intense in spots for those around 10, but there is enough to do if you throw out the tough attractions.

I've never been to the lodge, but it looks fine and it certainly is convenient.

yup
i used to live 5mins from it (Batavia)
its fun to visit but it gets old REALLY quick
like a day there is fine but dont waste the money for the hotel there instead play games and buy souvenirs and ride go carts, sky coaster, slingshot

its good for kids that age, they dont have age limits, everything is by height
if they are like 52inches they should be able to ride everything

also go on a HOT day where the water park is always fun
