Yes, because Robin keeps Batman grounded... Without Robin I think Batman would become overly violent and eventually just a murderer and would just lose track of why he is Batman in the first place...

Not really, but it depends on which version of Batman you're talking about. If it is the verison that use to be on Cartoon Network and Fox, he's cool. Not in the way but somewhat helpful.
And it also depends on how Robin is portrayed. If he is a geek like the one in the 60s tv show...forget it. He was really a nuisance with the "holy Batman" bit. Can we say nerd?

No, I think Bruce Wayne needs the different young men who play Robin. Bruce needs someone to teach, to mentor and to be a father to, because he never had a father to grow up with. He needs stability, friendship and something to keep his dark mind from consuming him

Yes!Because in the old verstion he needed a nerdy man to replace him and make corny joke's (JUST LIKE MY SISTER!!
MeepTheHampster!)and in the newer verstion he needed a guy to replace him and to make green spandex look good(unlike lee and gai does!) :] and so he ditches batman and join's teentitan's!and fall's madly inlove with star fire!
