The only money you would have in Nigeria would be the money you send to the scammer.

The only way you can have money in Nigeria is if you sent or put them there your self. Hence, you should know and don't need to ask.

Nigerians invented the "advance fee fraud", which is a scam that's probably been around longer than you have, so I wonder why people keep asking.

SCAM artist. I saw a whole thing on 20/20 and MSNBC about it. You don't have any money in Nigeria. I don't care where you are. Beware. SCAM artists are everywhere.

Hello,

The only way to find out if you have money in a Nigerian Bank or Foundation. Is to check with the bank that you transacted business with in that country, via e-mail, fax, or postal mail.

But be careful, there is currently an ONLINE SCAM that is targeting people globally, falsely telling them of some legacy, or bequeath for them in a Nigerian bank. And many people have fallen for this con, by giving their Social Security numbers, Bank Account number, and Credit card numbers online.

Much to their eventual regret, when they realize they were FLEECED.

I have money in Nigeria, but I lived there and opened the account myself. Have you been there? If not you probably don't have money there. Use some common sense.
